QotD: My First Car

What was your first car? How old were you and how did you get it?

Well I borrowed my bro's old car for a year before we junked it. It was already junk. It was also my uncle's car before is was my bro's car. My dad and my uncle got it from the junk yard and worked on it and fixed it up. I was 17 and it was a 89 Ford Escort Coupe. My real first car was when I was 18/19 and it was a 97 Honda Civic Coupe in silver. I loved that car so much. I love Hondas.

Would you rather skip Christmas or your birthday?

My birthday is 3 days away from Christmas. It kind of doesn't matter either way because I only get gifts one time a year anyway.

QotD: iPad

Apple unveiled their new tablet computer, the iPad, yesterday. Will you be dishing out $499 for this much-anticipated gadget?

Hells yeah! I want the 32 GB 3G one. But I probably won't get is right away. 90 days until it comes out, but I'm sure in the next 90 days I'll buy a mac mini. So I probably won't get one until August of something. Especially  since I plan on moving soon too.

At home in the morning, I hit the dashboard button and turn on music via my BBC.CO.UK widget. I love listening to BBC's 1Xtra station. Then i either check the weather then check email, or check email then the wether. last i check twitter.

At work, I open Adium, Thunderbird and Firefox. Most of the time i open twitter, via a 3rd party app or just on the website.

Look What I Saw ...

So I was vacationing out in San Jose and wanted to spend some of the time in San Francisco. I went to San Francisco last year and loved it. I asked my friend to come down from Sacramento and meet me there. We got there around the same time. I took the Lightrail to the Caltrain and he drove then took the BART. On my way to meet him I walked by this door, did a double take, turned back around and took this photo.
The photo is crooked because there was a guy standing in front and I was trying not to like too much like a geeky tourist and I am sending this post via my phone.

I have a buch of photos I took of Yahoo, Sony and Adobe. I would have loved to get photos of Apple, Google and Flickr. My friend drove me by Google and Apple but it was night time.
